Today I finished Ch. 18 in the Illustrator CC 2013 One-onOne: Intermediate corse…
Live Paint Selector tool.
For this section I learned how to use the live paint selection tool.
I also learned how to use it to select strokes independently of others in the image.
For this section I turned how to add paths to a live paint object in Illustrator.
At this stage I added, or rather, I changed some of the stroke colors in the image after I added the Back circle & the eyes from Bear Stuff into my current layer in the layers panel.
Here I changed the fills for the eyes to white and face to tan, finally string the fill of the bears teeth to none instead of orange.
Here I Set the stroke co;ors for the tan to brown sections of the face to none so it looks more uniform.
Finally I thickened up the eye and nose bridge strokes.
I started Out with this image and cut out and delete the larger parts of the three circles that form the celtic know in the center.
Next I change there colors so that I can tell the two apart.
Added a Rich Black Stroke with a weight of 3.6 Points, than I an orange fill with no stroke to three of the six intersecting points in the knot.
Next I turned on the back fill layer, and continue forming the celtic knot weaving in and out of its self, to form the image shown above.
Messed up on the gradients…(part of the video)
This mess up was part of the video.
Next I used the gradient tool to move the radial effect oner to the left.
Than I re:added the Rich Black stroke to the art work.
And finally I re:added the gradient fills…
