DAY: 63; Monday

Standard Illustrator CC 2015 One-on-One: Advanced|Chapter 20|Lessons 1-6 out of 16.

Today I started on Ch. 20 of the Illustrator CC 1 on 1 Advanced Corse…

(I also figured out that if you press COMAND>SHIFT>3 then is takes A whole screen shot of the whole screen in seed of a selected area. which is extremely useful information to me.)


Start: Benefits of Static Transformations…

For the 2nd & 3rd lesson Videos (Chapter Into video [the first video of every chapter] is considered the 1st lesson.) I was told to use the Transform affect on the left square and the scale tool on the Right square.

Here I used the Transform effect on the right square.

This was to show that the Right square was staticky transformed…

Here I used the scale tool to create a box with…arms? Whiskers? I don’t really know were I was going with this, I was practicing using the scale tool wail holding alt to copy, and it turned into this…

The end result…a crest…flower…emblem…thing…

It only took me a few seconds to make…and yet it looks really good.

The next lesson showed how to create guides for the electrons of this project form the last chapter.






The final image for this chapter was created to practice the skills I learned form Lesson 2of this chapter…

This is actually the emblem that is dawned by each member of “The Black Shard Order” who are the Vallen Game Masters groups first encounter in the alter-dimensional world that they are flung into… this info is form the 2nd volume of my novel series “Raining Shadow: The Dark Order/The Black Order/White Rains Return or Whites Return.” I really haven’t decided on the name for the volume 2 yet but it is currently being written…
