Today I Started the Adobe Indesign CC 2015 corse & already it pretty neat…
Intro into indesign…
Most of the stuff talked about in the intro is pretty well known to me by now, there’s all the basic tools: the type tool, the black arrow tool, the the hand tool, etc.
The layout…is…different, or rather, different than what I’m used to, I’m used to the design of PhotoShop & Illustrator, the “In complete Control” vibe I get from either of those two applications, look rather different then this:
Chapter 1: Learning InDesign in 30 Minutes.
This lesson taught the starting basics of the program, witch were a little different then that of what I am used too, but did still carry an air of familiarity with it.
This image [^Above^] is the base of what would soon be a Trifold/full color/Ready-to-Print/Adobe PDF file.
^Placed Text Image/File^ ^Typed & modifide text^
The 2nd thing I learned was how to place an image (Text File), witch was different, yet more control oriented, compared to two other applications that I use (Photoshop & Illustrator) and let me control exactly where I wanted to place the image, and how big it is from the start, without ever having to open the transform panel.
The 3rd thing I did was type the line “There’s no place like home…” then I increased the text size and changed the text color of the word “home” to red
The 4th Thing I did was place the white filled “Globe Bank INTERNATIONAL” logo, and the colored “Globe Bank INTERNATIONAL” logo onto the Left (white), and Right (Colored) folds of the brochure.
The 5th thing I did was add the image of the man in the suit and use text wrap to make the text go around him.
The 6th and final thing i did to the brochure/pamphlet thing was set up the image the export as a PDF File, to be printed by others if needed.

Chapter 2: Working With InDesign Documents…
the into video (the 1st video) covers the panels and bars that make up the application and also covers which panels and other options are exclusive to the application compared to to other widely-used Adobe applications.
All of the other videos in this chapter show how to navigate in InDesign.
Chapter 3: Creating A Document…
The Chapters exactly how it sounds.
