Today I got  from chapter 1 to chapter 3|Lesson 6…

The entirety of lessons up till now have been about information and the Pros & Cons of exporting to a Fixed EPUB, re:flowable EPUB, and a Adobe PDF document. The one part that I did do some real work was when exporting a Test.indd file into a re:flowable EPUB file, witch turned out like this…

It converted the star & triangle into a square/rectangle, flowed everything from top to bottom, and squashed the text.

I was told that a Re:Flowable EPUB was the most common type of ebook, but it was also the most stiff and non-conforming type of ebook next to the Fixed EPUB which can not be customized and only a vary small range of E-Readers support this type of EPUB file…


oday I finished lesson 3 & have gotten to the half way point in chapter 4 of the EPUB Fun. corse…

Here I used the Articles Panel in InDesign to for mat the page so the EPUB file would export correctly.

Here I fixed the eases spaces that were found in-between the sections.

Here I used the Find/Change box to find and change some of the extra spaces and tabs to EN & EM dashes.

Then I went to C.C. and worked on my resume.
